Hello,
my name is Björn Engelke. In 2013 I was searching for a hobby to spend my time with something different besides my job as a software developer. I remembered my school days when I was participating voluntary photography lessons. So I bought my very first camera since then. As fate would have it, a public spotterday took place in August 2013 at Airbase Neuburg (ETSN), hosted by the TktLwG 74 (74 Sqn) „Bavarian Tigers“. On that day I was infected with the Aviation Photography virus. Planes, especially fighter jets have been always my favorite in my youth when I read borrowed non-fiction books from the public library.
Long story short, the needle pierced my vains back then and from that day on I try to get as much possibillities to visit air shows, spotterdays, exercises or any events with (jet) planes. Whenever it’s affordable, in reach and vacation days are still available I try to catch my potion of jet noise.
So if you like my pictures leave a like for my facebook page or follow me on Instagram, this is really appreciated.
The pictures are my intellectual property. So if you like to share my pictures, that’s ok as long as you share a link to this page.
You can get in contact here.
Prints, Calendars or puzzles can be found here.
Alright folks see you somewhere at an airfield, exercise, spotters hill or flight line!
Kind regards
Björn
